a-parkour-lypse
Created for the 2020 winter DevICT game jam. Jump, slide, climb, and wall run your way to the end of the city as the buildings fall apart in around you.
Controls;
WASD to move
Space bar to Jump
left control or left shift to crouch/slide
left click to place a platform
R restarts the level
Rightclick to lock the mouse to the screen, esc to release it.
Switching maps: backspace = tutorial, f12 = Main map, f11 = Playground map.
Gamepad Controls:
Jump: R1
Slide: L1
Movement: Left Stick
Camera: Right Stick
Place platform: Xbox A/Playstation X
Restart: Start

download the zip file and extract. open "A-Parkour-Lypse.exe" to run the game.

Great idea for a game but a little tricky for me cause I’m impatient n suck at games 😭 great job on the game, if could have played more I would have 😅 gameplay starts at 7:34 if interested :)

I think the previous game made me so annoyed that it bubbled over to your game 😅 yeah I had some sound issues so I’ve had to reupload, the link is live now :)
Yo, thats awesome, excellent video. also there is a major bug that stops you from strafing when moving, which kinda sucks, and makes it really hard, as you found out. I might try and see if i can fix it sometime though.
Ahhh that would make sense! The part I got stuck on (n rage quit haha) I also did it with the bug, it’s a shame but still a really good game :)
